Learning languages is fun, and I've mastered seven different languages besides my native Japanese. I can speak Japanese, English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Greek, and Czech. It's pretty impressive, isn't it?

-If only it were true. I'm sorry, I lied. I speak Japanese and English, and that's all. I really want to learn Greek because I like Greek pop (music), but Greek is all Greek to me.

Here's a Japanese word for lie.

uso
うそ　（ウソ）
嘘

Meaning:

a lie

Pronunciation:

First, say "oo" as in food, and then "so" as in soy. Combine the two, and say the word quickly. Both of the vowel sounds should be very short.

Here are some usage examples:

uso wo tsuku
うそをつく　（ウソをつく）
嘘をつく
(to tell a lie)

Uso wo tsukuna. (This one gives a blunt & bossy impression.)
うそをつくな。　（ウソをつくな。）
嘘をつくな。
(Don't tell a lie.)

usotsuki
うそつき
嘘つき
(a liar)

Usodaro!
うそだろ！
嘘だろ！
(That can be true!)
